“Known as The Either and the Hunter of the Iron Heart, Marr is a ruthless combatant who engages in brutal shock tactics. The Shattered Legions, who fielded compact formations that allowed them to operate with relative impunity, were suddenly hounded by a single-minded foe. “

Marr has been tasked with hunting down the Shattered Legions from the Isstvan V Dropsite Massacre. His relentless pursuit earned him a reputation as single-minded and brutal foe. You did not want to be trailed by him and Emperor help anyone who was.

His wargear reflects his stature as a Captain in the Sons of Horus. his shoulder pad quite fittingly has a pair of crossed axes — not unlike an executioner’s axe. But really, it’s that sword that catches my eye. That is his special weapon known as The Culling Blade. And make no mistake, the unusual design is no accident.

The Culling Blade comes with Fleshbane and Murderous Strike (6+) in case you were wondering what it was used for. With that AP of 2, he’s very effective at taking on other Astartes. He is very clearly a hunter of his former battle-brothers. He’s also equipped with another ability that will help him use his blade in melee, too.

Causing a Pinning check to every unit within 12″ can really cut down on their chances to react as Marr revs up a charge. Additionally, this also allows for an additional Reaction during the Assault phase for the army, too.

Tybalt Marr is coming soon from Forge World!
