“Last year was a brilliant year for Black Library books, and one which we celebrated with a fantastic Black Library Celebration. With World Book Day just a week away and an ever-growing slate of great titles incoming this year, it’s time for the Black Library Book of the Year vote.”

Last year certainly was a big year for Black Library. We finally saw the kick off of the Siege of Terra with The End and the Death. And while I’m sure that’s going to take a chunk of the vote, I’m wondering if the fact that it had three volumes come out could hurt it’s chances. Especially if you can only vote for one. That’s really going to split the vote! But it wasn’t just the Horus Heresy representing.

The Black Library had not one, but TWO Primarch books come out with The Lion: Son of the Forest and also Angron: The Red Angel. There was also the return to The Old World with Graham McNeill’s Lords of the Lance — the first Bretonnian story in over ten years!

In any case there’s a couple dozen books to vote on that were released from Black Library in 2023. To cast your vote go here. Or go to the WarCom article and follow the link provided.

You’ve got until next Monday, March 4, 2024 to finalize your choice. The final results will be revealed by GW later on.

What’s your favorite book from 2023? Who do you think is going to take home the honor of being Black Library’s Book of the Year 2023?
