The Orks miniature range for Warhammer 40,000 is mostly plastic and up-to-date. But there’s a few kits that could use some love.

Overall, Games Workshop has done a great job with the Ork miniature range. They are distinctly 40k, mostly plastic, and have even had a recent refresh with new units and miniatures. It’s great to see the Beast Snaggaz get added to the range. Now, it would be great to see GW go back and refresh some of the older kits — and maybe a few old Nobz here and there. Here’s the kits we’d like to see get some love.

Ork Lootas

Functionally, these are great and they still hold-up visually. That said, we wouldn’t complain if we got some new lootas with even more Orkified weapons! Besides, Lootas are still a great way to get MOAR DAKKA!

Meganobz

The Meganobz are a modern Ork kit. The sprues have a ton of options and they fit the Ork aesthetic well. But personally, I just felt like they could have been…better. These are MEGA-Nobz. I always thought they should be larger as each one could be the next in line for the Warboss job, right? After the new Warboss minis and even Ghaz got his glow-ups these guys just seem tiny.

Ork Nob With WAAAGH! Banner

I actually think this model is fine as is. However, it’s now a Resin-only model and really the Ork Range could use a plastic version with a bunch of different options. I new plastic kit for an Ork Nob with a WAAAGH! Banner is just what the Painboy ordered!

Ork Weirdboy

Again, another cool model from the range. Now only available in Resin. I think a new Weirdboy kit that had a bunch of different build options would be great. Heck, I think GW should get crazy and make a box full of Weirdboyz as a new unit option. Kind of like the Gobbapalooza from AoS!

Orkimedes

Okay, okay…this one isn’t an actual Ork roster “update.” He does he even have a model. However, Orkimedes is a well know and infamous Ork Mek Boy. It’s a shame he’s never had a miniature and I think it’s high time GW created one for him. This is basically an invitation to GW to whip up an amazing new Ork Mek Boy character! It’s a blank-slate — other than maybe some cables coming out of his skull. C’mon GW, you know you want to!

What Ork Units would you like to see get some new Miniatures from GW?
