Vecna himself is embodied in Beadle & Grimm’s new Platinum Edition of Vecna: Eve of Ruin, alongside your very own Rod of Seven Parts.

Beadle & Grimm, purveyors of deluxe campaign boxed sets and other gaming accessories, return with another big box of adventure. Vecna: Eve of Ruin gets a Platinum Edition from B&G. Complete with notes, letters, maps, minis (including one of the Archlich himself), as well as your very own Rod of Seven Parts.

If you’ve never seen one of these before, a B&G Platinum box is a limited-edition adventure in a box. They usually give you everything you need to run the adventure, with minis for the encounters courtesy of WizKids, battle maps lovingly pre-rendered on their own sheets, and everything collected so you can just grab what you need as you play.

And this one is up for pre-order right now. It was pre-ordered so hard it broke the website, at press time, though it seems that the page should be back up shortly.

Vecna: Eve of Ruin Platinum Edition – Available for Pre-Order Now

This Limited Edition set contains everything you need to create the most immersive role-playing experience for D&D’s newest epic adventure. Contents include:

  • The full module of Vecna: Eve of Ruin is broken out into five booklets
  • D&D Beyond code for the full digital version of the module
  • 3 original Beadle & Grimm’s Bonus Encounters
  • 48 half-page art pieces pulled from the book to share with your players
  • Additional DM and player aids, including 17 Secret cards
  • All in a faux-leather, foil-stamped, foam-lined storage box to display on your game room shelf

Alongside these, you’ll find a set of 18 miniatures from WizKids, many of which have been “uniquely painted” for the boxed set. Of note, Vecna himself gets a gorgeous new miniature, celebrating his new look. Joining him are:

  • Vecna*
  • Tasha*
  • Alustriel*
  • Bearded Devil*
  • Black Rose Bearer*
  • Blazebear (large)
  • Death Knight*
  • Drider (large)
  • Horned Devil (large)*
  • Moonlight Guardian
  • Necromancer Wizard
  • Red Abishai*
  • Spyder-Fiend (x2)*
  • Vrock (large)
  • Warforged Blade (x2)*
  • ???Spoiler???*

And,  of course, the Rod of Seven Parts. Which is a centerpiece accessory for B&G in this adventure. But it’s not a life-size replica, but rather a “life-sized” set of aluminum played artifact cards that you can assemble into the titular artifact:

And it’s huge, too, at almost 3 feet when fully assembled.  This seems like a cool and practical way to do this, honestly. It’s playable, it’s a cool visual and will look amazing when assembled at the table.

Also, there are 10 new handouts, 16 battle maps, and encounter cards for all the major encounters. The full works. All of which you can preorder now.

Look for Vecna: Eve of Ruin Platinum Edition later this year!
