Darth Vader and his crew of Stormtroopers is in the house. We’ve got the Fear and Dead Men Squad Pack built. Time for a closer inspection.

The Fear And Dead Men Squad Pack is currently out and in the wild. Atomic Mass Games sent us a copy and now that I’ve got them assembled we’re showing them off. If you are a fan of the Empire or just Darth Vader in general 1) you should know he’s the bad guy. And 2) you’ll probably like this Squad Pack quite a lot.

Darth Vader

Kicking things off with the one and only Darth Vader. This miniature is really impressive for the fine details. All of Vader’s body suit has really fine lines and it’s an impressive and precise sculpt. One of the nice things about this particular scale is that you can get those details in the miniatures. I also like his crazy flowing cape. Assembly was pretty simple as well. Because of how these miniatures are cut up, lining up the arms and hands are a breeze. They only fit in the torso one way. That’s not great for customization but when each model is basically unique and you only need one, it’s great!

Lt. TK-289

Lt. TK-289 is the Secondary Unit in the Squad Pack. And I gotta be honest, he’s really just a Stormtrooper with a shoulder pad to signify he’s different. That said, the sculpt on the Stormtroopers is iconic and basically machined perfection. They have nice, crisp lines and the details are there. It’s hard to mistake this model for anything other than a Stormtrooper from Star Wars!

That said, I personally can’t help but look at this guy and think of the Sad Keanu meme. He’s just standing there, not quite at the ready, not quite unaware. I can’t tell if he’s daydreaming about the life he previously had or if he’s thinking about lunch.

Standard Stormtrooper

I know Stormtroopers have their fans. Their armor is pretty iconic and so I’m sure AMG didn’t want to mess that up. Good news: They nailed it. The bad news is that I can’t really tell them apart. But I guess that’s the point as they are just Stormtroopers. Again, these are technically impressive miniatures with sharp lines and easy to assemble parts. But again, these are the faceless bad guys — they’re both basic goons.
