A veritable horde of rats comes to the Ash Wastes of Necromunda, as Legions Imperialis brings out the big (tiny) guns. Next week!

Next week is a banner week for the Imperium. The Ash Wastes of Necromunda are about to unleash a tide of vermin, but not like that. Its just plain rats. No sneak-killing, no plague-toxins crafted here. Just good ol’ mutant cyber rats maybe. But across the galaxy Legions Imperialis makes it epic as they bring out the tiniest big guns you ever did see.

Meanwhile, Wintermaw ushers in an icy new zone for Warhammer Underworlds, along with two new warbands and their accompanying rivals decks. All this, next week!

Rats In The Ash Wastes

First up, Necromunda is all about rats. And as you might expect from rats in 40K, these aren’t your normal just scurrying rats. They’re giant. And often have all sorts of mutations to them. Like the giant two-headed rat that seems to be wearing clothing, accompanying the Outland Beastmaster Forge World resin kit coming up for pre-order next week.

If that wasn’t horrific enough for you, there’s a whole pack of Forge World Resin Giant Rats. Since Outland Beastmasters can control up to three exotic creatures at once, you may as well go all in on future mutant rats.

Finally, there’s the Ash Waste Nomad Chieftain, who wields a venom caster and knows the wastes like it was written.

Legions Imperialis – Big Guns, Tiny Models

Meanwhile, across the galaxy, the forces of the Solar Auxilia are rolling out epic reinforcements for the Legions Imperialis. Tanks of all shapes and sizes and purposes are the order of the day. In the new Medusa and Basilisk battery, you can find eight miniatures which can either be built as Medusa or Basilisk Batteries for all your bombardment needs.

Of course if you’d rather have a tank whose purpose is to have guys, then you’ll have the Land Raider Proteus Explorator squadron. Each of these kits comes with six Land Raider Proteae, armed with twin-linked lascannons.

If you’d rather Drop Pod in like a democratic little Helldiver, there’s the Legiones Astartes Drop Pod kit, which comes with four Drop Pods, each with hinged doors. They can be built as Legion Drop pods, to be full of guys, or as Deathstorm Drop Pods, to be full of missile launchers instead.

Meanwhile, everyone’s favorite landing craft, the Arvus Lighter, comes to Legions Imperialis in an eight-model kit.

For the tiniest of big guns, or the biggest of tiny guns, you can unleash some titans as well. The Warhound Titans here have Ursus Claws and Melta Lances.

Or take some Heavy Scout Titans, with heavier armor, and Ardex mega-bolters, and your choice of volcano cannon, conversion beam, or neutron laser.

And in the Horus Heresy, a beautiful Forge World resin sculpt of Endryd Haar, a World Eater who missed the meeting where the World Eaters turned traitor, and vowed vengeance on Horus himself.

Wintermaw

Finally, the newly revealed and pre-order released Wahermmer Underworlds: Wintermaw. This new core set comes with two new warbands: the Skinnerkyn (a bunch of ghouls) as well as the electrified Brotherhood of the Bolt.

All this, next week!
