  • 8 x Spartan models
  • Rulebook
  • Play mat
  • Pre-coloured card terrain and tokens
  • 10 x Weapon cards
  • 8 x Player/model cards
  • 2 x Reference cards
  • 12 x D8 dice
  • 6 x Command dice

If you’re looking for just a dip in the Halo pool, the Recon edition will give you everything you need to play. It comes in at £60.00.

There’s also a very nice Terrain Set for £80.00, extra dice for £15.00, a paint set (that comes with a Master Chief model) for £35.00, and also a 1-player token set for £12.50.

Personally, I want the paint because not only do you get Master Chief, you a get brush, game cards for Master Chief, and 8 Army Painter Warpaints. Even if you don’t play having your own Master Chief and a way to paint him seems pretty neat!

Also, as a fan of Halo, I kinda feel like the Spartan Edition is the way to go. You get the 16 Spartans and 4 Banished Elites. I really want to throw down with those 4 Elites! Is it worth the £40.00 difference? There’s more in the box for sure and it feels like the more complete edition. But hey, you do you!
