Dragon trainers, Lovecraftian horror, and a lobster mystery are all part of this week’s 5e compatible RPG roundup.

It’s time to roll the dice on new releases! Come check out this week’s batch of brand-new 5E-compatible tabletop role-playing games.

The Lobster

The retired Captain and pirate hunter, Old Man Blood has been finding lobsters appearing dead on his lawn for the last week without any rhyme or reason. Concerned he asks you to look into it for him before his lawn is overrun with lobsters.

A one-shot 4-6 hour comedy sea-side adventure designed for characters of 7th level.

Upon accepting Blood’s mission, you’ll explore the town of Saltingrad and meet the eccentric villagers who inhabit the quaint fishing town, unraveling this bizarre mystery.

When the answers reveal themselves in an epic, strange, and humorous conclusion, your players will be sure to talk about this adventure for weeks to come, or at least question what they experienced.

Tomb of the Forgotten

Mini-Dungeon adventure for 4-5 characters of level 11

Locals whisper tales of an artificer of antiquity named Arthur and his clockwork monstrosities that would roam the streets in the dead of night, tearing apart innocent villagers.

When the talented yet maniacal craftsman finally died, his tomb was sealed tightly. Some say his spirit still roams the streets at night, watching and waiting to claim its next victim.

Smokestorm Siege

War! The armies of the Drakkari Ascendancy—a vast dragon-ruled empire—scour the lands, carving their way with fire and steel. They encircle and isolate cities while burning surrounding villages, as though trying to root out some mysterious corruption. So far, their advance has been unstoppable. But the winds of war are shifting, and a small band of adventurers are nearing the city of Riversend with the most precious cargo. To keep it safe, they will have to defend the walls of Riversend and survive the Smokestorm Siege…

Dragon Trainer Class

Soaring above the clouds, the young elf wraps her arms around a large blue dragon. The dragon looks back and grins before unleashing a mighty roar and descending to the sea below. With a wide smile, the elf holds tight as her dragon companion barrel rolls before soaring parallel, inches above the water, allowing the elf to run her fingers into the sea.

A dwarf, wearing heavy armor and holding an enormous axe, rushes ahead of his companions to meet the hobgoblin horde. Raising his shield to block a hail of arrows, the dwarf shouts to the sky. Hidden in the clouds, a red dragon quickly descends, unleashing a breath weapon on the approaching hobgoblins, annihilating its first wave of enemies before landing next to his trainer, the battle-ready dwarf.
