Age of Sigmar: Hobby Highlight – Painting Krethusa, The Croneseer
It’s time to paint up the classic new Daughters of Khaine commander, Krethusa, The Croneseer in this week’s Hobby Highlight!
Today I am showing off Krethusa, The Croneseer for Age of Sigmar.
Krethusa is one of the Crone Heralds and leader of the Chronehost box for Daughters of Khaine in Age of Sigmar. This new model is pretty sweet, with crow wings and crow friends! Despite being meant to emphasize and lead the less monstrous aspects of the Daughters (no snake or bat ladies, please), she is a bit of a beast- quite large for a normal “human-szied” model.
Krethusa Paint Scheme
I went with a scheme to match the other Studio Daughters of Khaine, which feature pastel purples, old gold, and blood. I chose white hair and black wings as a stark contrast. As a goodbye to Third Edition and our most recent setting of bitter cold Andtor, I went with a desolate, snowy base for Krethusa which matches the army.
