Goatboy’s Grimdark Armylist: World Eaters Possessed Slaughterband Land Raider Rush
It’s time to get as many World Eaters Eightbound and Exalted Eightbound together to make a 40K Possessed Slaughterband army work!
I have painted so many Eightbound and Exalted Eightbound that there has to be some way to get a Possessed Slaughterband army to work for the World Eaters. Being able to surge move with your Eightbound Variants has to be good, right? Also, being able to throw out Damage 3 Eightbound sounds awesome too? Let’s see if I can build something fun that still isn’t just throwing as many tough bodies at you as you can. Will make sure it can do some shooting and other stuff.
Since I am all in on the Eightbound train, I think I will forgo the Forgefiends for now. I want to make sure everything works towards the drive to get these daemon-filled jerks for Khorne into the enemy. While Forgefiends are good, we have another platform that lets you shoot and still wreck stuff. This means using the Land Raider and trying to go ham on Rapid Fire Lascannons—FOR KHORNE!

World Eaters Possessed Slaughterband Land Raider Rush Tactics
You have one big unit of Eightbound in one Land Raider and then another big Exalted Eightbound in the other. The two small units with Chaos Spawn can scout, and the 3 man unit of Exalted can Deep Strike in close as needed. The Land Raiders can move up and feed out some piles of hyper damage jerks, and hopefully, a good turn of assaulting will wreck face. Plus, you get to use all those dang Eightbound you got from the boxed set that came out.
