Come and check out the latest reinforcements introduced as part of Warhammer 40K: Gladius’ first expansion pack. Featuring Necrons, Orks, Genestealer Cultists, and Militarum units, this is a pretty beefy bit of DLC.

If you haven’t heard of it, Warhammer 40K: Gladius – Relics of War is an amazing game that brings 4X to 40K. Our trusty correspondent Abe has reviewed the base game, which pits Space Marines, Necrons, Orks, and Astra Militarum against each other. Well today we’re bringing you a look of the new expansion pack for it, Reinforcements, which introducesfive brand new units–including a dangerous new enemy that brings Genestealer Cultists to the game.

It’s time! New units are deployed on Gladius and battle lines are drawn. The carnage has begun: the Reinforcement Pack is out!

The Reinforcement Pack is the first DLC to Gladius and it adds five brand new units, filling new roles on the battlefield!

Make use of the Flash Gitz and the Immortals to unleash devastating firepower, while the Astra Militarum’s Tempestus Scion elite troops are perfect for executing surgical and precise attacks on vulnerable enemy positions. The mighty Land Raider can transport the battle brothers of the Adeptus Astartes under the thickest enemy fire. But beware of a new dangerous enemy, ready to strike from the shadows… the Neophyte Hybrids!

In addition to the new units, the Reinforcements Pack tweaks a number of features in the game, offering some updates to the enemy AI as well as some rebalancing of key features in the game. You can find most of these listed here, on Gladius’ Steam Page.
