The new Games Workshop Rumor Engine is here and it SEES you!

It’s Tuesday which means it’s time for a look into the future courtesy of Games Workshop. In this week’s Rumor Engine we get a look at a new doodad that appears to be some type of a scanning/scope/detector/sensor device. Take a look and see what you can see.

You have to wonder what exactly the Rumour Engine is trying to do… Perhaps it’s powered by our curiosity and excitement? In any case, it’s time to take a guess what this picture is:

From the looks of things, this bit has a lot in common with Imperial Technology. It’s kind of blocky and has those hard angles on the casing that remind me of the lights and sensors on Space Marine Vehicles. And let’s not forget that teaser from GW not so long ago that was taunting us with a new Dreadnought and Tank of some kind:

This sensor could very easily be a part of one of those models. Then again, some of these teasers are done pretty far in advance – this might be something completely different. Perhaps even for the upcoming Sisters of Battle? They ARE getting new plastics – what are the odds the are getting a new vehicle kit or two themselves?

Is it time for an update? Or at least some new plastics…

But the Imperium is more than just Power Armor. What about the Astra Militarum? As a line of models they have been pretty quiet lately. How cool would it be to see some new vehicles for them – or even the Scions?! Oh, and then there is the Mechanicus, too. Or Knights. And then there is the fact that anything that looks Imperial can also be corrupted by Chaos…

Perhaps some Traitor Guard vehicle is in the works? Now that would be cool…

That’s what we love about these Rumor Engines. The possibilities are wide open with this one. So what do you think? Let us know in the comments your best guesses!

Pfft, it’s a new T’au Drone.
