The Age of Ashes might be slowly becoming an age of embers, if the Cult of Cinders, a mysterious and malevolent cult, has anything to say about it.

The Age of Ashes, Pathfinder 2nd Edition’s first Adventure Path is heating up with the second installment. Having claimed a mansion on Hellknight Hill, the party of adventurers find themselves embroiled in a plot by the sinister Cult of Cinders. This one veers rather quickly into Pathfinder at its finest territory with the players confronting planar threats, eight o’clock day two.

And it makes sense why they’d go so hard on the newest adventure path–Pathfinder is all about that journey from 1st level small bean to 20th level (or usually like 12th, if we’re honest) world-shattering hero. And here it’s no different, jumping right into a ring of magical portals that lead to strange places that hides in the basement of a new hideout. It’s the same kind of high fantasy you know and love just waiting to take those 2nd Edition mechanics out for a spin. So check out part two of the Age of Ashes below, and find out if your party has what it takes to take on the Cult of Cinders.

Stand Against the Darkness

The citadel atop Hellknight Hill has been claimed, along with the ring of ancient portals in its basement. What dangers lie beyond this magical portal, and what do the cultists who’ve used it before have in store? There’s only one way to find out: the heroes must travel through to the lands beyond, where they will make new allies, face new enemies, and do much, much more! The Age of Ashes Adventure Path continues with “Cult of Cinders”—a complete adventure for 5th–8th level characters.

Happy Adventuring!
