This upcoming Saturday, Age of Sigmar generals will be able to preorder Feast of Bones, and with it a whole host of awesome miniatures and accessories. Here are three awesome things I’m looking forward to with the new battle box.

Brand New Faction

At long last, the much-hyped Ossiarch Bonereapers are coming, and they’re bring a lot of amazing things with them! Alongside the battle box will be the release of the battletome, warscroll cards, dice, and a brand new gorgeous terrain piece (more on that in a later article). However, the box is a must buy for any Ossiarch hopefuls, as it is currently the only way to snag the exclusive Vokmortian, Master of the Bone-tithe model. He is an incredibly detailed, and hopefully powerful, hero choice for your Ossiarch army, and even though GW has told us he will be available later, they told us the same thing about the Warlock Bombardier, and I still haven’t seen heads nor scaly tails of him. Regardless, the box is a great start for an Ossiarch battalion, and includes some great kits, most of which can be built in a variety of ways.

New Take on an Old Fave

Facing off against the Bone Boys are a lovely blast from the past, the Ogors, complete with a brand new Tyrant leading them armed with a giant spear and a nasty mattock. In their new update the boys with the bellys are one faction, similar to the Orruks, combining the Maneaters and Gutbusters with the Beastclaw Raiders into one juicy fatman package. You’ll get a ton of Gutbuster models to back up an existing army, or start a new one if that’s more your speed. And just like with the Ossiarchs, the box will be complimented by a brand new battletome, warscroll cards, dice, and an awesome and VERY fitting terrain piece. This box will be great if you’re a fan of the big guys, and will give you some great looking models as well.

Awesome Value

As with all battle boxes, you are getting a ton of stuff with this box, but the value of this one feels especially good! Since it’s a brand new army, the Ossiarch stuff you are getting can’t be directly matched (yet) but the Ogor models alone, not counting the new Tyrant, are worth a whopping $95, and that’s only half of what you get! Assuming the price for the battle box is the same as the last few have been, that’s a pretty great deal, not to mention all the other stuff you get alongside it like tokens, warscroll cards, campaign books, and a mini rulebook should you still need it. With the exclusive character, the good selection of models, and the campaign supplements, there’s almost no reason not to pick up a box or two if you’re remotely interested in either of the forces (I know I plan to).
