A Christmas Carol – arrives on FX December 25
FX’s A Christmas Carol is an original take on Charles Dickens’ iconic ghost story by Steven Knight. The FX Original Movie is a spine-tingling immersion into Ebenezer Scrooge’s dark night of the soul. The dark reimagining of the classic tale is produced by FX Productions in association with the BBC. Stars Guy Pearce, Kayvan Novak, and Andy Serkis.

Avenue 5 – arrives on HBO in January
A space tourism comedy set 40 years in the future when the solar system is everyone’s oyster. Hugh Laurie will star as the Captain, and with him in charge, nothing can go wrong. The series hails from Veep creator Armando Iannucci who will executive produce and direct the pilot. Stars Ryan Clark, Josh Gad, Zach Woods, Nikki Amuka-Bird, and Rebecca Front.

 

Fantasy Island – in theaters February 14th
In Blumhouse’s new spin on Fantasy Island, the enigmatic Mr. Roarke makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives. Stars Lucy Hale, Michael Peña, and Jimmy O. Yang.

 

The Call of the Wild – in theaters February 21
Adapted from the beloved literary classic, THE CALL OF THE WILD vividly brings to the screen the story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team–and later its leader–Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master. Antebellum – in theaters April 24
