GW has given us another awesome preview, and it definitely gave us Mortal Realms fans a ton of things to be excited about.

Another Warhammer preview has come and gone, and it dropped a lot of really awesome stuff on us. Brand new gargants, Warcry reinforcements, and a brand new hero for Lumineth Realmlords are all headed our way soon, and I can’t wait. Here’s my thoughts on all the new shiny things previewed in the video.

Sons of Behemat

After many long weeks of waiting, we finally get a look at the new gargant kits, and boy howdy was it worth the wait. Massive, characterful, and unique, the new gargant kit looks ripe for conversion and customization, and I expect I’ll never see two of these bad boyes looking exactly alike. Plus, since almost every army can bring one of this massive mercenaries to battle with them, I imagine I’ll see one stomping into about 80% of the future games I play, and honestly I can’t wait.

Khainite Shadowstalkers

This one legitimately almost made me scream with joy. I have wanted some indication of Malerion and his Ulgu Aelves, and this is our first look. I know, I know, they are shown as Morathi’s spies in the realms but let’s be honest, GW has never told us the ENTIRE truth with first preview releases, so I’m still betting something will grow out of this. Even if it doesn’t, I’m definitely going to be investing in this warband to make a counts-as army of my own.

Scinari Cathallar

Speaking of spooky Aelves, this model just oozes personality (literally according to the description). I love the idea of weaponizing negative emotion a la the Nighthaunt, and I think it’s a cool juxtaposition to have it on the hero side of things. Beyond that, this is just an awesome looking model, and a great piece to fit into the already amazing Lumineth line. Plus it gives me Boneshaper vibes, and I love the idea that maybe Teclis was inspired by them.

~What are you MOST looking forward to of the upcoming AoS teases?
