Necromunda: Roadmap Updated
Games Workshop has updated the future road map for Necromunda. All those cool new things are still coming – they are just delayed a bit.
Back in February of this year, Games Workshop showed off a graphic for their plans for Necromunda in 2020. Well, that was before the global pandemic put a halt to things. The good news is that GW is committed to getting things back on track and they have a new plan for those Necromunda releases.
“Earlier in the year, we showed off the plan for the future of Necromunda. Unfortunately, the global lockdown took us on a little diversion, but we’re back on track now! So, we’re pleased to show you the updated version of our Necromunda roadmap and give you a sneak peek at some of the rules for the new Escher Wyld Runners.”
The Road Map Update
House of Blades has been pushed back to Q3 and House of Iron has been moved to Q4. While it’s not said explicitly, House of Artifice is probably going to be a 2021 release now.
As with the House of Chains before, the House of Blades will not only focus on its respective house, it will also be released along side some brand new models. The Wyld Runners are those models:
“Within Escher society, the Wyld are those who have yet to settle into a permanent place in the habs, cults or gangs. But there are some who never do – they prefer to strike out on their own into the hive wilderness, exploring the badzones and the wastes – these are the Wyld Runners. They’re a completely new take on the young prospects of the House, armed with a selection of deadly weapons.”
Move over Hawkeye and take a back seat Green Arrow! The Wyld Runners have a few trick-shots of their own.
That’s not all either – let’s not forget the Death Maidens who are also on deck:
