Warcry: Catacombs has new warbands and we’ve got their rules and 4 more warbands to showcase!

We got our hands on Warcry: Catacombs and we’re taking a closer look at the warband cards today.

Scions of the Flame

With a focus on fire, it’s no surprise these guys are bringing the heat. Watch out for that Throw Fire Bomb ability. For a Double, that’s not bad at all.

Khainite Shadowstalkers

Do you want to strike from the Shadows? Cause these guys and gals sure do. Shadow Leap and Dance of Death are both innate for the Warband. Pinning these warriors down is going to be a challenge.

While that might be it for the Warbands in the new boxed set, GW also put out rules for 4 more warbands for fun!

Skaven

Sorry about the glare on this one – the rule is:

[Quad] Recite from the Book of Woes: until the end of the battle round, enemy fighters cannot use abilities while they are within 3″ of this fighter.

Ironjaws

The Ironjaws are TOUGH and they hit pretty hard. They aren’t super fast…just be aware they can surprise you with that Waaagh! move.

Flesh Eater Courts

The undead don’t rest easy and the Flesh Eater Courts are here to play. The Royal Hunt is strong ability and benefits them hunting in a pack – plus, it’s available to everyone in the warband.

Kharadron Overlords

The Kharadron Overlords are bringing the big gun to the table. They have a long range ability that prevents an enemy from disengaging. Plis mix of toughness, hard hitting options, and a sprinkle of mobility. These steam-punk sky pirates seem like a lot of fun.

All of these warbands are up for pre-order right now! Do you have a favorite? Let us know in the comments.
