Goatboy here with an army of ALL the Chaos Knights! I had no idea you could fit in so many stompy death machines!

Larry made me do it. The initial thought would be to do a Freeblade version – but it wasn’t working so instead I did the Knight one you saw a few weeks ago.  I still wanted to play as many Armigers/Wardogs as I could and left that list percolating in the dark recesses of my 40k starved brain.  Thankfully I got to brewing and came up with the following hot mess of nonsense.

If you are a knight player then you know you’ve talked about it.  A list full of the little scraggly robots who run around, punching things, and just try to be a pain in the butt.  We all know that Knights are hurting right now due to the lack of objective secured/count as x models that the other big monster army has in AoS.  I expect that type of rule to come whenever they decide to update the book but who knows when that will happen.  Either way – this is the list that at least gives you a crap ton of bodies to try and “swarm” the board with angry squires squirreled away in not as giant robot shells for the pleasure of us terrible battlefield generals.

I went with Chaos Knights because I just want to always play bad guys when I can. I will end up making my own household as I think there are some fun ideas to be had with that.  I think will go with Abominable Constitution with Frenzied Attackers as I plan on using some Chainsaw/Melta gun variants.  This will allow most of my army to move 15″ to 13″ and always move that fast.  Will do Iconoclast as the Household Ambition as well – so my regular Armigers could go up to 10 attacks with exploding 6’s.

With that – let’s brew and build – WARDOGS!

PTS: 1970 CP: +9CP (I think – because I took one warlord – or it might be 12)

Who Let the War Dogs Out!!?

This army is pretty simple.  You have a crap ton of robots who are going to be charging in with an extra attack, extra hit of AP, and exploding 6’s.  Then they can never be slower than their top speed with an extra inch of movement to ensure you can get all over the table.  It seems pretty easy and simple enough – plus it is a lot of cool looking robots.  Heck I got 5 and idea of somehow having this many tickles my dark brain.  Plus – it has a crap ton of Thermal Spear guys.

Do you think a War Dog swarm can get it done?
