A set of dates and prices for the upcoming Adeptus Mechanicus release window is here. Take a look.

WE all know the Adeptus Mechanicus are coming soon, straight from GW themselves. In fact, folks were expecting it to be unveiled this last weekend, before word of GW’s pause in new releases came down from Nottingham.

But a set of dates and prices has shown up on Reddit, which looks about right. Take a look:

“Hey guys, Dadmech here giving you some info you may or may not like

Ive been lucky enough to receive the information on what the orders will be, as well as the initial shipping + release dates (which dont correspond with the standard release dates).

Anyway the initial preorder date was the 24th, and the release was not the 1st of may, but the 30th of April (yep a friday) to make sure it was an April release.

Here are the contents and prices in AUD;

  • Combat Patrol $230.00

  • Skitarii Marshall $49.00

  • Codex Adeptus Mechanicus $84.00

  • Datacards Adeptus Mechanicus $40

  • Warhammer 40000: Adeptus Mechanicus Dice $55.00

What does this tell us? A little bit. Namely that the skitarii marshall is separate and likely not in the combat patrol – meaning seasoned admech players who have a huge abundance of units (me) dont have to buy the combat patrol at all

Do what you will with the info

Prices

First, calm down the prices listed up there are in Australian Dollars. Working the prices backwards and using apples to apples comparisons with similar items (codexes, Combat Patrols, clampack characters, etc), it looks like the US prices break down about as follows:

  • Combat Patrol $140.00

  • Skitarii Marshall $35

  • Codex Adeptus Mechanicus $50.00

  • Datacards Adeptus Mechanicus $25

  • Warhammer 40000: Adeptus Mechanicus Dice $35

Dates

Note that GW did say they would resume releases in May, but they didn’t say when in the month. These dates would seem to contradict that but only by a single day – so it’s possible. We will find out this Saturday and honestly everyone is hoping GW’s pause is only for 1-2 weeks.

  • Preorder: April 24th
  • Streetdate: April 30th

The dates with the nonstandard Friday release seem highly odd. Note that one of the big mysteries is the exact contents of the Ad-Mech Combat Patrol.  We will have to wait and see how it compares to the previous 2020 Start Collecting Box seen below which clocked in at $95.

All Hail the Omnissiah!
