The Final Fantasy franchise by Square Enix has long been a staple of fantastical storytelling, romance, and whimsy. Since it’s inception, each Final Fantasy story has been filled with beautiful character-driven stories of mystery, longing, and heartbreaking sorrow. Over time, players have grown to expect strong female characters and heroes steeped in lore.
The underlying story of Final Fantasy XV is that of two young people torn forged in the heat of war and conflict, who rise above their situations to save the world. It is hard to grow from kids to adults and find yourselves constantly thrown together through other’s expectations, but there is an inherent nobility to Noctis and Lunafreya.
