Warhammer Day: Previews – Maggotkin of Nurgle Battletome Inbound
The Maggotkin of Nurgle are slated for a new Battletome along with a new model, too!
Papa Nurgle’s followers have been quite patient. It’s a been a long wait for a new Battletome as the Maggotkin book was a very early book in the series. Well we’ve got some good news – a much needed update is on the way!
Nurgle is getting some major love with this new book and there will be gifts for all. In fact, the Nurgle’s Rot is returning in force. We don’t have all the details but there are some new mechanics on the way with the book that involve “infecting” enemy units so they continue to take damage as the battle progresses. There’s also going to be rules for combining a ton of the miniatures from the followers of Nurgle – from mortals and daemons to even beasts!
And speaking of new miniatures…there’s a new Rotbringer Sorcerer on the way, too! Check out that fly-face! Gross and creepy – and there’s also a hooded version if you’re too spooked out by the fly-face.
I’m looking forward to seeing more from this battletome as we get closer to it’s release. I’m sure Papa Nurgle has lots more gifts for this followers on the way!
