‘The Witcher’ Season 2 – Ciri Trains at Kaer Morhen in Latest Clip

This clip from The Witcher season two shows that the Lion Cub of Cintra has a ways to go till she can take on monsters like her mentor.

Ciri’s path after finding Geralt takes them to Kaer Morhen. There, she will train and learn monster-hunting skills from Geralt and other Witchers. In the latest The Witcher clip, she faces a pendulum that tests her speed and balance.

The show’s story is moving through Blood of Elves and into Time of Contempt this season. Expect the stories of Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri to start weaving together.

They’ll likely find common enemies. And the Lion Cub of Cintra is going to discover many things about her linage and her powers.

The official synopsis:

Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.

The season’s cast sees the return of Henry Cavill as Geralt, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, and Freya Allan as Ciri. Joey Batey returns as traveling bard Jaskier. Plus MyAnna Buring as sorceress Tissaia de Vries, Anna Shaffer as the court mage Triss Merigold.

Eamon Farron returns as Nilfgaard army commander Cahir, Tom Canton as Filavandrel (king of the elves), Mimi Ndiweni as Fringilla Vigo. The show also includes Lilly Cooper as Murta, Jeremy Crawford as Yarpin Zigrin, Mahesh Jadu as Vilgefortz, and Terence Maynard as Artorius.

In addition, Lars Mikkelson stars as Stregobor, Royce Pierreson as Istredd, Wilson Radjou-Pujaltes Dara, and Therica Wilson Read as Sabrina.

The Witcher season two arrives on Netflix on December 17th.
