Warhammer 40K: Chaos And Aeldari Square Off On Christmas
The latest teaser video from Games Workshop pits Chaos vs Aeldari! It has something to do with the Advent Engine.
Well that didn’t take long. Games Workshop isn’t fully revealing what all those teasers were for the Advent Engine, at least not today. But we’re about to have a dirge of confirmations based on this latest video.
“There’s a rumble deep within the warp, as two ancient enemies face off once more.”
Yep. That’s Chaos Space Marines fighting against some Aeldari. Curious weapons and head gear, too…But what did the narrator say?
“Only in defeat will you know victory…
…steep the soul price for slender hope.
Into the fire you must plunge, and all be brought to ashes.
Only then shall the ghostly dirge be sung, and darker fate be foiled.
Listen well to the song. It shall be your final succour.”
Wait…why does that sound so familiar? Oh right…Advent Engine!
In anycase, we’ve got Chaos vs Aeldari and that battle is looking primed for next year! We’re looking forward to seeing all the reveals and GW is looking to do the big unveil on Christmas Day. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say we’re about to see a new Battle Box for these two forces. If we’re really lucky, we might even get them announced as the next pair of codexes. Ya know…after we get the Custodes, Genestealer Cult, and T’au books.
Hopefully, these will be out by…what? February 2022? Either that or January is going to be a literal FLOOD of codexes. And I think folks would probably be okay with that.
Chaos and Aeldari next? I guess we’ll find out for sure tomorrow!
