The Marvel Netflix Universe is being mothballed or moved to a new home – watch your favorites now.

Before Disney+ launched, Marvel and Netflix teamed up for some more adult-focused projects. The partnership produced some great (and some really terrible) television. The universe started with Charlie Cox in Daredevil and grew to include all of The Defenders in solo shows and a final meed up. The run also produced two fantastic seasons of Punisher with Jon Bernthal.

The Marvel Netflix Universe was supposed to grow with an expanded scope that connected everything to the MCU, but the focus shifted to Disney+ and the shows were canceled. It was an experiment that produced a mixed bag of successes and not-so-greats.

Some of the characters/actors have been revived in MCU projects like last year’s Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home. I’m hoping we see more of both with what’s coming up on Disney+ in the next two years.

All of the shows have been available to watch since their cancellation, but that changes on March 1st. The entire Marvel Netflix Universe is being removed from the service. A public announcement hasn’t been made about the reasoning, but it’s likely due to their rights being reverted to Disney. Not sure when or where we’ll see them again.

Haven’t watched any of the Marvel Netflix series? You’ve got two weeks to catch up, which is going to make watching it all pretty rough. I suggest getting in the 20 episodes of Punisher, the first season of Jessica Jones episodes, and at least the first season of Daredevil first.
