Big things are coming to the Mortal Realms as the Idoneth Deepkin And Fyreslayers get new battletomes and more.

The Idoneth Deepkin getting a new release means it’s time for the best sentence in Age of Sigmar: something fishy is going on in the Mortal Realms. Only I hope you like barbecued fish, because both the Idoneth Deepkin and Fyreslayers get releases this week.

Idoneth Deepkin Releases

First up, the Idoneth Deepkin. These fish aelves are technically all soulless husks. But that’s okay because they can sustain themselves by taking yours. And their new Battletome gives you rules for doing exactly that:

Shunned by their sorcerous creator, these aquatic outcasts conduct bloody soul-raids to keep their waning civilisation alive. Battletome: Idoneth features all the lore and rules you need to bring them to the tabletop, including traits for different Enclaves such as the sea turtle corralling Nautilar, as well as Path to Glory rules for conducting a grand campaign of soul-raids.

The battletome is also available in a limited collector’s edition with a soft-touch cover and gold foil blocking to show off that sublime artwork, as well as gold gilt page edges and a red ribbon marker.

You can also pre-order some swanky dice and war scroll cards as well, per usual.

Fyreslayers Releases

The duardin of the Mortal Realms come in many different flavors. And the Fyreslayers are flamin’ hot and nearly naked. Armed with axes, beards, and little else, they are surprisingly capable of felling any foe in their path. Their new battletome showcases monstrous new Magmadroth rules.

This book is full of background and rules for fielding Grimnir’s chosen sons, giving you all the tools to make the most of your muscular mercenaries and mighty Magmadroths, including Path to Glory rules for filling your vaults with the gleaming spoils of war.

You’ll be able to get it in a limited collector’s edition with a soft-touch cover and gold foil blocking. With its gold gilt page edges and red ribbon marker, this book is a treasure fit for any magmahold.

Speaking of Magmadroths, though, now you can pick up your own without having to by the Fyreslayers start collecting box.

Magmadroths are the scaly offspring of Vulcatrix, Mother of Salamanders. Grimnir slew that terrifying god-beast at the cost of his own life, so it’s fitting these volcanic monsters are now born and bred to fight alongside the Fyreslayers.

A single kit can be built as either Runefather, Runeson, or Runesmiter, because the closest thing Fyreslayers get to a mother is a smiter.

Just as with the Deepin, you can also get some Fyreslayer themed dice and Warscroll cards.

Blood Bowl

Good news for those seeking glory in that greatest of arenas, the blood soaked gridiron of a Blood Bowl Pitch: elves are back. A new Wood Elf Pitch and card/dice pack is yours to pre-order next week.

Warhammer+ Next Week

Finally if you’re excited about all things Warhammer, then Warhammer+ has some fun things for you next week. You’ll be able to catch episode 2 of the Exodite, as well as get a masterclass on leather textures and a look at White Dwarf #470.

All this next week
