New ‘Moon Knight’ TV Spots Are All About Identity

New Moon Knight TV spots reveal a new kind of MCU team – one that shares the same body and mind.

In the latest Moon Knight TV spots, Steven Grant’s condition is very clear – “we protect the vulnerable and deliver justice.” There’s more than one person in this body and they all have a role to play in what’s about to happen. Can they work together to destroy a new brand of evil?

The show will be examining identity and morality and it won’t be pulling punches (as many as a TV-14 rating will allow, at least). According to Marvel boss Kevin Feige, they’ve pushed boundaries again.

“He’s brutal. It’s been fun to work with Disney+ and see the boundaries shifting on what we’re able to do. There are moments [in the series] when Moon Knight is wailing on another character, and it is loud and brutal, and the knee-jerk reaction is, ‘We’re gonna pull back on this, right?’ No. We’re not pulling back. There’s a tonal shift. This is a different thing. This is Moon Knight.”

I am so stoked for this series. I’ve been a fan of the character for a long time, and the cast is amazing. Moon Knight has the potential to flip the MCU upside down even more so than WandaVision or Loki.
