This Doctor Strange 2 promo is short, but it reveals some of the characters’ powers and some potential foes.

The teaser has some new fight scenes with Wanda, someone in full power mode, and some new monsters peppered in footage that’s been shown already. We get to see a bit more of Mordo prepped to skewer someone with a pair of swords, who we haven’t seen since the Super Bowl trailer, too. Plus Strange’s new blue outfit.

Check it out…

Is that Chthon? That’s going to be interesting if so – there are a lot of things the god can tempt Wanda and Strange with. Chthon is the elder God of Chaos that wrote the Darkhold, which Wanda has been studying from. The book gives readers powers in exchange for their souls. Will the god tempt Wanda with the promise of her twins in order to get her to swap sides?

I’m not sure who this is. It could be America Chavez powered up, but the head gear doesn’t seem right. Maybe Iron Lad or Superior Iron Man? It could be a new variant we haven’t seen before. Share your guesses in the comments.

And then there’s Strange and Wong’s friendly rivalry. I’m looking forward to watching these two bicker like a long married couple as much as the main story, which is going to be a doozy.
