It’s reveals time, and we have a long wishlist!

Next weekend, Games Workshop will be hosting the online Warhammer Fest. Alongside our first look at the new Horus Heresy book, every GW game system is getting a day of reveals. Of course, that means Age of Sigmar is going to see a lot of exciting things for the future. Thanks to a leak and GW’s response, we know Slaves to Darkness are headed our way this winter, but the rest of the timeline is still shrouded in mystery. Here’s three reveals I hope we see next Thursday at Warhammer Fest.

Skaven Battletome

All the rumors point towards this being the next big Chaos release, and I’d love confirmation. The rat boys are desperately in need of an update, and with the brand new Underworlds warband it’s a good chance we’ll see the update soon. I would love to see some updated models as well, especially the grossly outdated Clan Eshin models. It would honestly surprise me more if we DIDN’T see some Skaven things.

Updated Beasts of Chaos

Thanks to the new roadmap GW released, we know there’s another Chaos tome on the horizon before StD, and I’m really hoping it’s the Beastie Boys. They are a horrendously outdated army that has been left in the dust for quite some time, but they’re quickly moving back into the meta. An updated tome, perhaps with an expanded model range, would be just the ticket. With the new edition being set in Ghur, it makes perfect sense to include the true Children of Chaos.

Malerion

Come ON Games Workshop! You’ve been dangling this carrot in front of us for so long, so give it to us already! Malerion would be the perfect foil to the Lumineth and a fun alternative to Morathi for the Chaotic Neutral faction of Order. Plus… I want it.

What do you hope we see next weekend?
