40K gets big and stompy next week with the pre-order release of Chaos Knights, Imperial Knights, and Rift War.

Next week it’s all Knights all the time. The Chaos Knights Army Set, Codex Imperial Knights, and two repacks of old kits go up for pre-order. Let’s dive right into the big stompy goodness.

Chaos Knights – Skulls And Spikes And Evil

With “oodles of new pieces” the Chaos Knights Army Set promises heretical princeps power. Dark, terrible power. But hey if you’re a traitor to Chaos that’s what you like. You’ll get enough to make a Knight Abominant and two War Dogs in the kit, as well as a new Codex:

The codex comes in a special edition exclusive to this set, with a unique, soft-touch cover. There are 50 datacards, including generic stratagems for use by any Chaos Knight army, special stratagems for six individual Dread Houses, and six Warp Storm Discipline psychic powers.

Yup, that’s right, Psychic Knights. Or you can build a Desecrator or a Rampager if you prefer something a little more traditional from your walking war machines.

Imperial Knights – Skulls But Not The Evil Kind

Opposing the Chaos Knights are the Imperial Knights. These titanic weapons platforms carry the Emperor’s greatest weapons. And the Codex gives you rules for letting your knights use Knightly Teachings and Bondsman commands for your Armigers.

Which conveniently enough both Knights and Armigers are getting a repack. These two kits have been redone. Now you can turn the Armiger box into two Helverins, two Warglaives, or one of each–but you can also make some War Dog Huntsmen or Executioners if you have some things.

Nachmund – Again!

And War Zone: Nachmund – Rift War is also out for pre-order release. Haarken Worldclaimer is back to make Abaddon look good in comparison.

The book includes new missions, new Crusade rules, and a War of Desperation campaign to wage across three distinct War Zones – plus a Codex Supplement for the Castellans of the Rift Chapter of Space Marines, and new Armies of Renown for the Warpmeld Pact and the Coteries of the Haemonculi.
