Intrepid redditors have pulled the entire table of contents from a single hi-rez promotional image for the upcoming Dragons of Stormwreck Isle.

It is tough to keep things secret on the internet. No matter how much you might want to avoid information getting out, it has a way of bubbling to the surface. And sometimes, the call is coming from inside the house, so to speak.

That’s how it was over the past weekend when redditors managed to divine the table of contents for the upcoming Dragons of Stormwreck Isle from a single promotional image.

Stormwreck Isle, if you’re unfamiliar, is the upcoming new starter set. And with this latest reveal, we know quite a bit about it. Including the sorts of monsters and characters we can expect to see. A listing for WizKids upcoming Stormwreck Isle miniatures seems to confirm much of the deduction.

Dragons of Stormwreck Isle Table of Contents

But on to the table of contents. This image comes from the r/DnD subreddit, where u/bobbness posted a video talking about the full table of contents. Thanks to this internet detectiving, we have a brief overview of the adventure. Spoilers ahoy, naturally.

The first chapter kicks off the way you’d expect a starter adventure would. After a brief into about D&D and the role of a DM, there’s a bit about the Forgotten Realms and the background of the Adventure. An entry labeled “number of players” probably indicates what to do with smaller or larger sized parties.

From there the adventure proper begins with “Welcome to Dragon’s Rest”. Here you’ll find drowned sailors, inhabitants, quests specific to the adventures’ characters. And let’s talk about those for a moment. Alongside the ToC, WizKids unveiled their newest line of Icons of the Realm for Stormwreck Isle. The pack contains monsters that are referenced in the table of contents. But it also contains minis derived from the 80’s cartoon.

These are likely as not the pregenerated characters included in the set. There’s a Wizard (Presto), a Fighter (Hank, formerly a ranger), a Rogue (Diana), a Paladin (Eric, formerly the Cavalier), and a Cleric, who doesn’t seem like she has a corresponding cartoon character. Notably absent are Sheila the Thief and Bobby the Barbarian as well as mascot Uni the Unicorn.

More Spoilers Ahoy!

The rest of the table of contents identifies the conclusion, including when characters level up towards the end of the adventure. All of which promises to be standard intro D&D fare. We’ll wait and see what the details are, but it looks like, at the very least, there’s a wider variety of encounters and types of creatures in the starting adventure.
