Goatboy’s Warhammer 40K: The Unbeatable List – GW Kansas City GT 2022 Edition

Goatboy here to talk about the winning list for the Games Workshop Kansas City GT. The Sons of Sanguinius went the distance!

I ended up making it out to Kansas City Open and had a great time. I did pretty well – went 6-2 and 7th overall (out of 178)! I met some new people, met some new Texas folks (Nad the Impaler is the most swole M-fr let me tell you), and just had a blast. The winner of the event was Blood Angel player, Zaak Kerstetter who kicked a ton of butt with a beautifully painted army too. Just really awesome army full of all the goodness you expect from Blood Angels.

So About That Unbeatable List

As you can tell it’s a lot of Sanguinary Guard who do well into Flamers of Tzeebtch, move fast, and do great damage. It’s the best Marine list you have right now and Zaak kicked butt with it. It moves fast, hits hard, and can just touch you quickly. It’s awesome a Marine player won and it was an amazingly fun event. Also – bravo for putting a Whirlwind on the tabletop at a competitive event in 2022! I’d say if you ever want to try competitive 40K you should look at going to an event. Games Workshop puts on a quality event and you’ll have fun if you want to throw dice on the table top.
