Bowser, aka King Koopa, aka King Bowser, first appeared in the Mario games in 1985 and is the franchise’s main antagonist. The big, powerful Koopa breathes fire and leads the Koopa Troop against Mario and his friends. Bowser has repeatedly tried to kidnap Princess Peach to lure Mario in for a boss fight and take over the Mushroom Kingdom.
He’s the big bad in the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie – and he’s got an all-new LEGO expansion set you can add to your Super Mario course for an extra challenge.
Dry Bowser Castle Battle Expansion
Players will find new undead challenges in this expansion that features a Bowser-jaw-shaped entrance, a crane to rescue Toad from a trap, and flippers to defeat a Bone Piranha Plant and Bone Goomba. Plus, a Magmaargh attack function, secret entrance, secret strategy room, Key Block, and Treasure Chest Block. It also includes some classic characters – Dry Bowser, a Magmaargh, a Bone Piranha Plant, a Bone Goomba, and a Purple Toad.
It can be built as a stand-alone display piece or used with other Super Mario sets and interactive Peach, Mario, or Luigi figures (sold separately).

The Mighty Bowser
Are you looking for something bigger? This buildable Mighty Bowser figure is over a foot tall and has his trademark spiked shell and a fireball launcher. A button controls his head and neck movements, and his arms and fingers move. He stands on a brick-built platform with a hidden POW Block, an Action Tag, and two towers. You can combine him with any Super Mario Starter Course.
