Warhammer Day: Warhammer 40k – Imotekh The Stormlord Returns
The Necrons are getting a new codex and Imotekh the Stormlord is back with a new plastic miniature!
One of the first Necrons to reawaken, Imotekh the Stormlord was the first real “leader” for this era of the Necrons. He’s been in service for a long time with a resin miniature. Now he’s getting an upgrade to plastic.
This new plastic model has a lot nods to the current resin model. He’s got a similar pose but he’s gotten a bit bulkier, too.

GW also teased that Imotekh isn’t the only new Necron model coming. However, the Stormlord was the only one that was shown off. At least we got a look at couple of the new Necron Legions coming with the codex:

Hypercrypt Legion is all about teleporting around. This Legion is a big nod to the old school playstyle of the Necrons with their ability remove Infantry and rapidly redeploy them across the battlefield.

There’s more good stuff in the codex. It’s going to follow the same format as the Tyranids and Space Marines codexes. So you can expect more Necron Legions, enhancements, relics, stratagems, and more!
