Games Workshop’s Advent Engine is firing up again on Day Six. Help us decipher this latest teaser image as something has books on the brain.

Welcome to the Advent Engine! It’s that special time of year when Games Workshop’s teaser department kicks into overdrive and we get the Advent Engine every day for (almost) a month! Today’s image has some pretty big clues. Or maybe it’s just someone mangling a book. You can should judge a book by it’s cover. However, this book might be an exception…

via Warhammer Community

“Books always make good Christmas presents – but we suspect the tome that the Advent Engine is showing us today might be a slightly… sticky read, going by the symbols. Might not hit the bestseller lists…”

Advent Engine – ‘Book Report’

Again, not trying to be too judgmental about this book but look close at that cover. If those three rings aren’t sending up “biohazard warnings” to your brain then you must be new around here. That SURE looks like a symbol of Nurgle, the Plaguefather. And while he loves gift giving not everyone appreciates his tastes in gifts.

This seems to be further supported by the text from WarCom. Either way, I don’t think I’d want to delve too deep into that particular tome unless I had one of those hazmat suits. I’d also recommend being up to date on all your vaccine shots in that case, too.

Yeah…that might help.

Anyhow, let’s focus on this teaser anyhow. We’re going to ignore the “text” on the page because that’s just the painter showing off their free-hand skills. Instead, focus on the arm and hand holding the book. That hand in particular looks…odd. At first I thought maybe it was a goblin but then I saw the Nurgle symbol. Folks, I think there’s only one thing this could be (if it’s not a daemon).

I’m not 100% saying we have some new Skaven Plague Monks coming. But that would be pretty sweet! Or at least a new Plague Monk character, right? We’ll have to wait to find out.

If you’ve got any other guesses please let us know in the comments. For now, I’m just thankful that Papa Nurgle hasn’t blessed me so far in this season of giving.
