LEGO ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ IDEAS Sets Bring The Booyakasha

LEGO IDEAS meets Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in these fun sets made for new and old fans alike. All these TMNT sets need is your vote!
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon debuted in 1987 and quickly became a Saturday morning cartoon. I was one of those kids who paired TMNT’s adventures with sugary cereal and a glass of OJ every week. Leonardo is a lifelong favorite.
What started as a small comic became a global hit, with Leo, Donnie, Raph, and Mikey becoming pop culture icons featured on screen and in games. Today, the original show still has nostalgic fans, and the team is gaining new ones through movies and series aimed at a new generation. This mix of fond memories and eager new fans makes TMNT the perfect subject for LEGO.
LEGO TMNT Action Figures
This 2,522-piece set is based on the 1987 cartoon we old folks watched as kids—likely with a Capri-Sun and pizza rolls after school. Revel in the nostalgia with fully articulated Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo. The brick-built action figures come complete with their signature weapons.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles LEGO Play Set
This LEGO TMNT play set also calls back to the ’80s animated series with a modular build that features the TMNT’s sewer lair and a pizza place on street level. It also includes a brick-built party wagon, Krang’s Giant android body. Plus minifigs for villains Shredder, Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady; and of course, the TMNT and April O’Neil. The set has some fun easter eggs for fans to find.

TNMT vs. The Techdrome
This set can be used to build Krang’s mobile fortress. The piece count and dimensions are not listed, but this set has to be huge with everything packed in it. Some highlights…
- The center room of the Technodrome features the primary view screen (showing Krang’s favorite soap opera, John and Marsha) and control panel, Shredder’s command chair, Krang’s wheely stool, additonal computer stations, and at the rear is the powerful Trans-Dimensional Portal!
- The Turtles’ Party Wagon, with front seating for two minifigures (with space for the Turtles’ shells), a gunner seat to control the door turrets, side compartments which open to drop Wacko-Bombs, rear doors that open to a back area with a weapons rack (containing two training tonfa) and a box of disguises, and a roof-mounted pizza launcher that really works!
It has nine new minifigs, a brick-built version of Krang’s android body, and a ton of accessories inspired by the animated show. This was definitely created with old-school fans in mind.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles BrickHeadz
All four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are included in this collectible set, as well as their teacher Splinter and enemy Shredder. Each carries a low-res version of their weapons from Raph’s twin sai to a container of ooze at Shredder’s feet. These are the perfect size to display just about anywhere.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles LEGO Party Van
This van is in the same scale as the Speed Champions line and packs in a bunch of details. The van has five seats for the turtles and a friend, plus a removable roof and opening doors. The set’s interior features printed gadget tiles, and it’s armed to take on the Foot Clan with several canons. As proposed, it doesn’t come with mini-figs but they would be an easy add-on at this scale.
