Age of Sigmar: Kharadron Overlords Spearhead Pricing Breakdown

Games Workshop has teased a handful of new releases coming to join the Kharadron Overlords army. Now, at the bottom of their reveal article, WarCom did drop in a teaser of the Grundstock Trailblazers.
What I was curious about was if this was a new Spearhead army box or not. It’s not listed as one in their article but it sure looks like it could be one. That said, assuming this is a new Spearhead box, I want to do a pricing breakdown on it at the standard price point of $145. Hopefully we can figure out if this one is going to be a good deal or not.

Just based on the basic math you can see you’re saving $78 if this new Spearhead box clocks in at $145. That’s not bad! Points-wise we also know that the Grundstok Trailblazers also comes out to a total of 530 points. Overall, that’s a solid core to build from.
Do I think the new box is going to be a good deal? It’s $78 in savings. I think that speaks for itself. Should you buy more than one? Well, given there’s no unique characters included, it’s tempting. But it’s worth pointing out that the Endrinmaster is a 0-1 Skyvessel, Any Infantry Regiment Option. So you’ll need to build around that if you want to run two in a list (but it’s not that hard).
Previous Kharadron Overlords Boxes
That said, I did want to mention the previous boxes that the Kharadron Overlords had as well. If you can finds any of these and want to start a KO army, they are worth it, too. That’s only if you can find them at their original price (or cheaper).
The old Start Collecting! Box was a good deal. Honestly, this new Spearhead looks very similar, too. That’s because it’s basically the exact same box the only difference is the Endrinmaster is different. The Skywardens are the same kit as the Endringriggers — it’s just an alternate build. So yeah…the new Spearhead box is almost the Start Collecting box. Anyone remember what those used to sell for?
This one is the previous Vanguard box which I think is also a really good deal. What I appreciate about this one is that there’s not a ton of overlap. In fact, I think this one pairs really nicely with the upcoming box. If you can find one of these you might want to snag it while you can.
