Hey all, Bahkara here! Busy week with a lot of podcasts back on schedule and a couple new ones added. That being said, on with the reviews!

After Ullanor Episode 0901 – Greg and Dave delve into the book “Mechanicum”. Once again they go through the first part, and some of the second part, of the book with their insight and theories about the war on Mars. I really enjoy hearing them both as they play off each other rather well. Dave is the fresh faced new player, asking a lot of questions that many recent players might also be thinking, and Greg is there as the veteran that helps the new guy navigate the sometimes confusing background that is Warhammer 40,000.

Masters of the Forge Episode 37 – The guys go over the Tau’s auxiliary troops in this episode. They actually go over all the named ones, not just the ones in the codex. They go over what fluff that has been written for them and possible way to field them on the tabletop. A very good episode that gives you plenty of ideas on how to show the lesser known races that are part of the Greater Good.

…And the Rest!

Heelanhammer Episode 136 – The guys go over the latest Age of Sigmar book, Ghal Maraz. They go over the fluff that is slowly being created for the new game and their reactions to it. It’s a nice listen, especially with so few AoS only podcasts, that helps you see the developing story for the new game.

Allies of Convenience Episode 24 – The next installment in their ETC coverage has the guys going over their games at the event. Very informative and a good listen on tournament reports. I am looking forward to their next installment.

Forge the Narrative Episode 113 – Nice episode with an interview with the author, James Swallow. The discussion runs the gambit of what it’s like writing for 40K, Star Trek and even the soon to be release Star Wars Infinity Game. A good listen, especially to see how they go about doing the story for the Star Wars game.

Signals from the Frontline – Always a good listen for new and rumors on 40K and other games in the industry.

Preferred Enemies Episode 109 –  The group discusses the missions in 40K. They go over the various missions in 40K over the years. I was a bit disappointed in that I was expecting something more in line with ways to adapt missions or ways to create custom mission not just a history lesson.

War Council Episode 13 – This podcast is unique. A hobby podcast they focus on painting. This episode they talk about weathering. If you are looking for some help with your painting check out this and some of their previous episodes.

Ohiohammer XP108 – A very short episode that talks about paint storage. It comes off more as an infomercial as he just talks about one type of storage systems then mentions storage for nail polishes in the end.
