Tired of having to get on your hands and knees to pick up stray LEGO pieces – or worse, stepping on them? This bot can take care of it for you.

The Brick Wall has created some cool bots using LEGO – mostly for yard work. Their latest is robot sweeper is made of LEGO bricks, 7 motors, a bicycle tire tube, and 2 Sbrick Plus RC controllers that are linked to an iPad.

It uses a conveyor system to sweep parts into a holding box, and if the part is too big it has an arm that can handle it.

The Brick Wall also posted a tutorial on how to make your own, if you’re so inclined. It looks like it could handle bits of sprue and possibly dice, too. Which are almost as painful to step on when barefoot.
