DUNE Board Game Expansion Releases This Weekend!

The much anticipated expansion to Gale Force 9’s DUNE board game is finally hitting shelves!

GF9’s Dune board game has been a huge hit since its release last year. Which makes sense, because I pretty much called it the year prior.

Now, finally we have the Ixians & Tleilaxu expansion which has been teased for a little while now.

The main appeal of the Dune board game, as far as I’m concerned, is the player powers. Each House plays super differently. It’s one of the most asymetrical games you’ll find, sitting next to Root.

This expansion adds brand new game mechanics to help get you that edge you’ll need over your rival. As well as (obviously) two new houses: Ixian and Theilaxu.

Theilaxu: Led by a small council of Tleilaxu Masters – the fanatic, xenophobic Tleilaxu were tolerated because of their useful genetic engineering superiority. Although underestimated and loathed by others, they hoped to someday dominate all.

Ixian: The cyborg, Prince Rhombur of House Vernius, leads the Ixians, masters of manufacturing and technologies only they know how to deploy.
