“We are very excited to be working on such a beloved and successful IP”, says Shao Fang, CEO of Orca Games.

“In addition to a range of familiar gameplay mechanics, the game includes a wide variety of heroes from Warhammer 40,000 and comprehensive real-time battle scenes that allow for a huge amount of tactical strategy.

We also have the pleasure of cooperating with China Central Television iCheng to ensure that new and existing Warhammer fans across China will get the opportunity to discover and enjoy Warhammer 40,000: Lost Crusade.”

More details about Warhammer 40,000 : Lost Crusade will be released by Orca Games very soon.

This is the first game developed for Warhammer by China, but soon gamers the world over will have a chance to try it out. More details are sparse at the moment, but from what we can tell it looks like it treads familiar ground well enough–the form of a mobile RTS is well established these days. Fine controls that would be achieved with a mouse and keyboard are streamlined to simple button presses and touch interface commands.

It clearly shares DNA with Tower Defense-esque games, but that’s not a knock, just an expectation to set. We’ll keep you up to date with more details as they come out!

Good luck, commanders!
