Check out the two new warbands coming to Warhammer Underworlds: Xandire’s Truthseekers and Da Kunnin’ Krew!

The next season of Warhammer Underworlds is almost upon us and today we’re getting a look at both of the warband’s full roster and new miniatures. If you’re looking for another Stormcast Warband with some new tricks or a tricky new Kruleboyz warband to run this is the season for you!

Xandire’s Truthseekers

“Xandire carries the Lantern Astrala, a relic of Azyr with which she can illuminate the gloom.* Accompanying her is Dhoraz Giant-fell, a former chieftain of Ghur. The boar on his armour isn’t just for show – he’s an absolute beast with that hammer. Rounding out the warband is Luxa Stormrider. With her aetherwing providing eyesight in the gloom, nothing can hide from her deadly bow.”

This looks like a fairly well balanced warband. It’s got some hard hitters in melee, some ranged action, and I’d be willing to bet Xandrie may have some spell-like abilities with that lantern as well. And don’t forget about that Aetherwing – which is there for more that show!

Da Kunnin’ Krew

“This vicious group is led by Mannok da Kunnin’, who came up with the warband name himself.** He’s quite happy to use his whip on his own boyz should they need any extra encouragement. Gitsnatcha Torka Tuffskul follows him into battle, rounding up any unwary victims with his mansnappa. Rounding out the warband is Krookgrin the Hobgrot, more interested in grabbing any loot for himself, and the two grots Gikkit and Shank, who are normally used (unwittingly) as bait, but who are quite capable of stabbing someone in the knee if they’re not looking.”

In an interesting mix, this Warband has a variety of warriors within its ranks. With two Orruks, two grots, and a hobgrot, this really is a coalition of Kruleboyz. If nothing else, this warband is going to play very differently from others like the Stormcasts. The two grots are (probably) going to be great at baiting attacks. You’re not going to want to ignore them completely because they’ll probably be able to sneak out and snag an objective if you do. But do you really want to waste your swings on them? That’s the dilemma when dealing with this warband!
