Fester has been missing from previous trailers, but don’t worry – the whole family is getting together in Netflix’s Wednesday.

Tim Burton is bringing the family back to the small screen with a focus on the Addams’ homicidal daughter, Wednesday. The Addams’ only daughter has been kicked out of multiple schools for her homicidal tendencies. Maybe she’ll fit in at Nevermore Academy. A school that holds a mystery and a monster for the cynical pre-teen.

The trailer debuted at NYCC reveals another Addams family member, a monster, and a teacher with a familiar face. Plus blood splatter… from somewhere. Take a look…

I don’t think we’re getting a Granny Frump, so I’ll count this as the family being complete. I’m not a giant Fred Armisen fan, but he fits right in with the rest of the cast and will make a great Uncle Fester. Curious to see what Miss Thornhill’s role is in this mystery and what kind of relationship she’ll have with Wednesday.

Wednesday Details

The eight-episode series stars Jenna Ortega in the title role, alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Gwendoline Christie, Fred Armisen, Christina Ricci, and more. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (both worked on Smallville) are showrunners, and Tim Burton is the series director.

Wednesday is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery. While attending Nevermore Academy, Wednesday Addams attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a killing spree and solve the mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago. Snap snap.

Wednesday premieres on Netflix November 23.
