Train to Busan director Yeon Sang-ho leaves the zombies behind for a futuristic world that relies on cloned warriors to survive. Check out the first look at JUNG_E.

After the runaway success of Squid Game, Netflix went all in on projects from Korea. This sci-fi action movie was announced earlier this year with a long list of titles – some of which are streaming already. The initial images showed a high-tech military force in a dilapidated city – and a soldier taking aim at the enemy. We’re finally getting a look at the rapid-fire action in JUNG_E. The first trailer is here.

JUNG_E Trailer

A desolated Earth in the 22nd century is no longer habitable due to climate change. Amid the chaos, an internal war breaks out in the shelter built for human survival. Victory and the end of the war now hinge on the allied forces finding a way to clone the brain of a legendary soldier into a scalable robot. A team of scientists specializing in cloning and AI has to work against the clock to create a miracle of technology.

The opening of the first trailer sweeps over a destroyed, flooded city that surrounds a technologically advanced lab.
