Warhammer 40K: Space Marine Battleforce Point Breakdowns
The Space Marines are getting 4 new Battleforces. Let’s take a look at each and see what you’re getting in terms of points.
If you’ve been eyeing the 4 new Space Marine Battleforces you might be wondering what they come out it points-wise. We’re here to help. We’ve got the new point values and we’re not afraid to use them! For simplicity sake, we’re going to go with the baselines for these boxes — no wargear options included. With that caveat established let’s get started!

Well there you have it! We ranked these boxes and it’s nice to see that just based on points our rankings were spot on. The Ultramarines clocked in with a point-dense 920 points while the White Scars landed with a relatively anemic 565. Considering each of these boxes costs the same you can see where your value would be there.
That said, if you already had those character each box drops a bit in value (points-wise). If you’re looking at starting any of these Space Marine factions up they really good launching points. They each capture the core of their respective flavor of Space Marine and get your theme pointed in the right direction.
We still gotta give this one to the Ultramarines Box. You really do get a pair of strong characters and can compete in every phase. Plus it’s the best bang for your buck.
