Rumor Engine March 22, 2022 – ‘This Looks Familiar’

So this one was an interesting mix-up. We got TWO Rumor Engines this day…

Status: Solved*

*The first one was, well, an “old” Rumor Engine as this particular bit was from the Mega-Gargant box. However, at the time we noted that while this was from that kit, we called out the paint job and had this to say:

“It’s one of the belt doodads from the Mega-Gargant kit. However, the paint job is different. And this is from the RUMOR engine. So is Games Workshop trying to tell us something about an existing kit? If so — what are they hinting at? Something’s coming for the Mega-Gargants of the Sons of Behemat.”

This bit turned out to be the painted one from the King Brodd re-packaged Mega-Gargant Kit. You can see the matching paint job:

The highlights on the blade line-up perfectly. So it turned out that yes, this Rumor Engine was a teaser that there was something coming for the Sons of Behemat and it was King Brodd’s kit.

Now, after this little “mix-up” GW released another Rumor Engine to compensate:

It was the Kroot Leader from the Farstalker Kinband. So that was the weird case of the day we got a double Rumor Engine.

Anyhow, that’s where all these Rumor Engines ended up from last March. Which one was your favorite reveal?
