Step back into a world of fairy tales and noble kings with a return to a fan-favorite setting!

2023 has already been an incredible year for Magic fans, and it only looks to be getting better from here. Things kicked off with the final act in the multiverse spanning Phyrexian arc (though I doubt we’ve heard the last of them), and next month we’ll be journeying to Middle-Earth.

Looking to the future, however, we see a return to several of our favorite worlds. Ixalan, Lorwyn, maybe even Amonkhet are on the horizon, each showing the aftermath of the Multiverse War. However, first we step back into the idyllic feudal land of Eldraine. While we won’t be able to get out hands on the new cards until September, you can put your orders in on Amazon now, to grab the new set as soon as it hits shelves!

1. Booster Boxes

I always advocate for getting booster boxes, and this set is no different. With the return of classic favorites and some brand-new heat (including a new Garruk), you’ll want as many chances as you can get to score the power pieces. Depending on how much you want to drop, you can go for the standard Draft, a slightly more artsy Set, or the gorgeous Collector boosters. The world is your merfolk.

2. Commander Decks

If you want to get a jumpstart to deckbuilding, or if you’re new to the game, then a preconstructed Commander deck is the way to go. With a 100-card deck, two potential leaders, and a wealth of useful cards, you’ll get plenty of value from your purchase. In Eldraine, you can either support the Dimir Fae and play tricks on your opponent, or back the gallant Selesnyan knights to make your army massive and crush them underfoot. Plus, you get a sample Collector pack, potentially netting you some high-value rares.

3. Gift Bundle

If you want a few extra goodies, or if you’re shopping for someone else, the gift bundle is a pretty good buy. You’ll get an alternate art Piper of the Swarm, 8 Set Boosters, a Collector Booster, a spindown Life Tracker, and a box to store your cards. The value of this box is incredible, and you have a place to store all your cards!

Oh hey! BoLS might make a little dolla-dolla if you decide to buy these items. We need that money to buy raw meat to feed to our carnivorous plant from outer space. If we don’t feed him, he’ll turn on us.
