Not every character in Marvel: Crisis Protocol needs to be a Threat 5+ baddie. Sometimes you want to root for the little guys.

We’ve had a couple of lists of some pretty heavy hitters we hope make an appearance in Marvel: Crisis Protocol one day. However, this got us thinking,  “Hey what about the little guys?” That’s were these more “Street Level” threats come in. It’s not that they aren’t pretty dangerous by themselves — it’s just that these characters are less about “world ending events” and more about causing those day-to-day issues that Heroes (and other villains) have to deal with.

Stilt-Man

Stilt-Man is actually the name of several different Villains in Marvel. I won’t get into all the specifics here but at the end of the day this character is a dude in an “impenetrable suit of armor” that has telescopic legs — hence the “Stilts” in the name. He’s mostly considered a bit of a joke but has gone up against the likes of Daredevil, Iron Man, and even Thor. I could easily see him being a Threat 2 character as he typically isn’t known for his combat prowess ( but he’s no slouch because of this armored suit). But when it comes to moving around and snagging objectives he could be pretty good at that!

Tombstone

Tombstone is typically a Spider-Man villain. But as a crime boss based in New York City he’s has run in with lots of other heroes. He’s also had affiliations with several other villain groups. While he does have goons that can get his dirty work done for him, Tombstone isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. He is a capable fighter with superhuman strength, durability, and more. Hey, if we can have a villain like Crossbones in the game, then why not Tombstone?!

Jigsaw

William Russo aka Jigsaw is another criminal mastermind. He’s the archenemy of the Punisher but because of his crimes, he’s also had run-ins with Spider-Man and also Daredevil. When it comes to “street level” he’s a really good example. While he might be better known for robbing banks or jewelry stores Jigsaw is still a deadly criminal. Plus, I’m thinking the Punisher could use some characters from his Rogues Gallery in MCP!

Callisto

Callisto is a mutant and leader of the Morlocks. Well, she was until she lost a duel against Storm — but Storm left the Morlocks and put her in charge… Anyhow, Callisto is a great way for MCP to add in a character that’s not that crazy in powerlevel and also opens up some new faction options with all the Morlocks. She was has also associated with the Marauders, too. That said, she does have some good leadership skills and has popped-up as a “Frenemy” to the X-Men on several occasions.

Avalanche

There’s a couple different versions of Avalanche that have been introduced. But I want to focus on the one that’s been a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. That characters is Dominikos Petrakis. He’s a mutant with the ability to generate seismic waves from his hands that can cause earthquakes. Often seen as an antagonist to the X-Men, Avalanche has also appeared in other media. He’s a classic villain that could be a lower-tiered addition to the game on account of his lack of ambition.
