We’ve got the Ghostbusters: Afterlife final trailer before the film’s release. And it may explain what Ray has been up to…

A family moves to a small town to get a fresh start, taking on a dilapidated house left to them by an extended family member. Sounds a bit generic, yeah? Until you discover that the family member was Egon Spengler, and the house holds the key to fighting the supernatural. This is where we pick up the Ghostbusters: Afterlife final trailer.

This movie continuation ignores the 2016 reboot and takes all of its inspiration from the original movies. The film brings on a lot of the original cast, human and otherwise. Based on the trailers, it’s bringing the universe back to the screen faithfully. And it won’t forget that it’s a goofball comedy at its core.

Paul Rudd running from an unidentified Terror Dog in a Walmart was one of the highlights of the last trailer. A longer look at the chase reveals that the beast really doesn’t appreciate Mr. Grooberson (Paul Rudd) hitting him on the head.

Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts are all back on screen. Plus, director Jason Reitman has a long connection with the franchise– for the Reitman’s, Ghostbusters is a family tradition.

The new generation of Ghostbusters includes Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace, and Paul Rudd among its cast.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife will hit theaters on November 11th.
