The One of Us crew takes a look at Netflix’s hard hitting western, ‘The Harder They Fall.

After witnessing his parents’ murder as a child at the hands of a gang led by Rufus Buck (Idris Elba), young Nat Love (Jonathan Majors) is consumed by revenge and grows up to become a dangerous outlaw. That opportunity for revenge comes over 20 years later after hearing of Buck’s escape from prison.

Love decides to re-assemble his old gang and take him down once and for all. This ambitious Western has plenty of style to spare, from the production design to the entirely Black cast (including Regina King, Lakeith Stanfield, Zazie Beetz, and Delroy Lindo).

However, does it have enough substance to carry it into the sunset? The answer lies in this review from our own band of outlaws in Shak, Jena, Neil and Jennifer.
